With Reid by my side, Life is good!

I am married to a wonderful man!  I thought I'd tell you a little more about him.  Here's some info. about Reid in no specific order:

1.  He always kisses me good bye, and he kisses me again when he gets home.
2.  He can play the "Lone Ranger" theme on a pencil OR on his cheeks.  He was a big hit at our Ward Talent Show.
3.  He has a very nice bass singing voice.
4.  He is very talented and creative.  He made almost all of my visual aids when I've served as Primary Chorister.
5.  He broke his collar bone wrestling in Middle School.
6.  He is an excellent tennis player.
7.  He can fix anything.  He's really handy around the house.
8.  He can speak very good Japanese.
9.  He loves our dog, but only on these two occasions:  When he moves our garbage cans down our long driveway, and when he goes for walks in the woods; she always goes with him and is good company.  Other than that....
10.  He has been a Bishop 3 times.  In Folsom CA, Wichita KS, and Batavia IL.
11.  He is very community spirited.
12.  He always opens the car door for me, as well as all doors.
13.  When he goes to the grocery store he always comes home with unusual food.  Always.  Whether it's a new brand of chips, or ice cream, or just a random item that he thought sounded good.
14.  He once gave me two plungers for a Christmas present!  They were wrapped really pretty!
15.  He always writes really amazing things on the tags of my Christmas presents.  They are sometimes poems, or clues about what's inside, but mostly they are very romantic.  I look forward to his tag writing every Christmas!
16.  He likes to take pictures.
17.  He is very good at woodworking.  He made us some beautiful bookshelves and a great coffee table.
18.  He designed and made some jewelry, which he sold!
19.  He interviews our kids on Fast Sunday's.
20.  He is an exceptional Home Teacher.
21.  He likes to jam with me on the piano playing "Heart and Soul"
22.  He has never once complained about the house being messy.
23.  He loves my cooking, even when it doesn't turn out so good.
24.  He is always generous.....with his time, money, and compliments.  It is not unusual for him to be found in his office listening or giving advice to someone who is down on their luck.
25.  He is the most honest person I've ever known.  When he tells you something, it's true.  (With the exception of #23 perhaps!)
26.  He has stopped at the scene of car accidents twice and given away a blanket that was in our trunk.  He didn't even tell me until weeks later when I noticed the blankets were gone.
27.  He's taught all of our kids to ride bikes, and later to drive.
28.  He has a fantastic belly laugh!  We love when it comes out!
29.  He has amazing taste buds.  He can take a bite of something and tell you what is in it.  And he's right!
30.  He has a letter signed by a General Authority that at the completion of his mission, he had the most baptisms in Japan of any missionary who had ever served there.  He was an AP and a very successful missionary. And he still is!  He can't wait to serve more missions in our future.
31.  He is very wise.  He can figure out human nature.  He stays very calm when in a difficult situation.
32.  He once sold his car that he enjoyed driving, to buy me a fun car to drive.  He got stuck driving our old van.  It was really sweet.
33.  He is very quick witted.
34.  He is fantastic at picking things up with his toes!
35.  He is a good listener, except when a football game is on.  :)
36.  He loves Sees Candy!
37.  He loves the gospel and his Savior dearly.

Wow, I was only going to write a few things, but there is so much to say about such a wonderful man!  Did you learn anything new, or see any resemblances to your own husband? Tell me about it!
